About Alfred Levy
Alfred Levy was the person who went to Marseille with Helen Hermann and Tekla, fleeing the German occupation of France. Marthe (Tata) met him at the old harbor in Marseille by chance when she was looking for Helen in 1942, and Alfred directed her to Helen. Tata gave Helen some money from Daniel Gedalia (son of Babette Bonem). He was known for his hats.
