Ailcy Reed, died sometime after the August 1860 Census.

She was born June 8, 1802, at Mount Sterling, Kentucky, the daughter of William Ferguson.

She and James Etchison Reed were married March 28, 1822 in Floyd County, Kentucky.

She and James were the parents of five children. Their first child was born in Kentucky, the others were born in Arkansas.

The children of Alicy and James are:
Emaline Reed (b. 1832),
Mason Harvey/Henry Reed (1838-1864),
Eli "Judge" Reed (1842-1920) and
Rebecca Reed Fraley (b. 1844).

Her husband, James died October 23, 1854, and was buried in the West Fork Cemetery, with a military headstone. She survived him and died sometime after the August 1860 Census when she was listed in White River Township, in the home of an adult son, Harvey. She is probably buried here in an unmarked grave.

Her son, Eli Reed is buried in the Combs Chapel Cemetery, in Fayetteville, FG 108729934.

Her daughter, Rebecca Fraley is buried in the Hazel Valley Cemetery, Near Durham, FG 23179895.
