Ervin Boelke sang "Rock Of Ages" & "Softly & Tenderly" accompanied by Lyle Schreiber, church organist. Pallbearers were nephews of Mrs Wunderlich & included: Alton Meese, Gaylord Meese, Sidney Wunderlich & Leonard Wunderlich, all of Faribault, Roger Hildebrandt of Nerstrand & Raymond Wunderlich of Morristown. Relatives & friends attending svcs from away were from: Kenyon, Owatonna, Virginia, Morristown, Nerstrand, Mpls, St Cloud, Rosemount & Clarion, IA. Martha Mahlman, dtr of Frederick & Augusta Shaske Mahlman, b at her parents farm home in Richland Twp, Rice Co, Oct 7 1883. She attended rural schools in that vicinity & grew to young womanhood there. Nov 26 1903, she m Samuel Wunderlich at her parents home. They made their home in Richland Twp where they farmed for many yrs. Mr Wunderlich passed away Jan 15 1948 & then Mrs Wunderlich moved to Faribault where she has since made her home. Mrs Wunderlich passed away at Wood's Nursing Home in Faribault Sat evening, May 18 following extended illness. She is survived by 4 sons, Abner, Faribault; Myron, Kenyon; Harold, Tonopah, NV; & Fred, Owatonna; dtr, Mrs Clarence Fogelson (Alice), Kenyon; 17 grdchildren & 25 ggrdchildren; sis, Mrs Amelia Mund, Kenyon; number of nieces, nephews & other relatives. Mrs Wunderlich was preceded in death by husband & 2 bros, Fred & William Mahlman; & 3 sis, Mrs Clara Pickett, Mrs Mary Meese & Miss Ida Mahlman. Mrs Wunderlich was life-long mbr of Evangelical & United Brethren Church, having belonged for many yrs to church in Prairieville &, in later yrs, to church in Faribault.
