"Alice Gertrude Doud Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ditmire-Zimmerman funeral home for Mrs. Alice Gertrude DOUD, 92, R.R. 1, Logansport, who died at 10 a.m. Thursday in Logansport. The Rev. Clarence L. ROBERTS and Raymond SKELTON will officiate. Burial will be in the Fulton cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Born May 7, 1878, in Liberty township, she was the daughter of Robeson and Minerva POWNELL REED. Her marriage was Jan. 11, 1910, in Fulton to Edward J. DOUD. He died in November, 1937. She had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Albert (Gladys) SHOUP, R.R. 1, Logansport, the past 27 years. She was a member of the Metea Baptist church.
Surviving with the daughter are one brother, Otto REED, Fulton; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Two brothers preceded in death."
