May be the mulatto slave of Moses Ezekiel's grandmother's second husband Moses Abraham Waterman. He had two female slaves. One was age 10 in 1850 and age 20 in 1860. Moses Ezekiel lived with his grandparents according to his memoir even though he wasn't listed in their home in census records.
The slave schedules do not list the names of the slaves. The name Mary was taken from the Illinois death record of her daughter, Alice Lee Williams:
Father Name Albert Johnson
Mother Name Mary Lee

According to her daughter's obit, her mother Mary and Albert Johnson moved from Richmond, VA to Washington D.C. when Alice Lee was seven years old, or circa 1873.
