Alice and Hugh Ferrers are not the parents of John Ist Lord of Chartley

His parents were Robert 6th Earl of derby and Eleanor de Bohun.

I have been researching this family for years and actually work at a ferrers house

Alice & Hugo did have a son John ferrers who was born in Devon whereas John of Chartley was born in Cardiff
