Aliona of Ryazan

Yuri (George) Svyatoslavich (died September 14, 1407) was the last Grand Duke of Smolensk (1386-1392, 1401-1404), with whom the history of Smolensk statehood ended. The second son and successor of Svyatoslav Ivanovich.

He was married to Alyona, daughter of Oleg Ivanovich, Grand Duke of Ryazan[8], taken prisoner after the capture of Smolensk. From this marriage:

Yury had two daughters: Anastasia, wife of Grand Duke Švitrigaila of Lithuania, and Elena, wife of Yury of Zvenigorod (and mother of the famous Dmitry Shemyaka). He also had a son (Fyodor) who joined the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem in 1412.
