Allen B. Hoffer, seventy four, died suddenly Friday afternoon at his home is Sporting Hill. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Brethren in Christ church. He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Mary Shearer, Lititz; Mrs. John G. Gibble, Elstonville; Enos, Manheim; Mrs. Jonas Snavely, Myerstown; Allen and Henry, Manheim R.D.; and Samuel, Landisville. Two brothers and a sister also survive: Rev. Henry B. Hoffer, Manheim; Emmanuel, Elstonville; and Mrs. Jospeh Ginder, Mastersonville. There are 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, from the late home, with services at the Brethren in Christ church, Mastersonville, at 2 o'clock. burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
