About Amalia Mignon Von Hesse-Warrtegg
Called "The American Carmen", Minnie Hauk was an Amerinican Opera Singer. Born1851 in New York City, USA. She was the Daughter of German born carpenter, James Hauk and an Unknown Ameican Mother (possibly the Love child of Financial-Sports Barron, Leonard Walter Jerome) After her birth, "The Hauk Family" removed themselves to Rhode Island, In her youth, she had a promising singing voice and was given professional singing lessons. By the age of 14 years, she began to sing in Opera Productions. She Married in 1881, Von Hesse-Warrtogg. With the later death of her husband in the late 1900's, she fell into poverty and was nearly blind... into obscurity, She later passed away in 1929.
