Ambrose Lonski, 92, Dent, died Tuesday, March 11, at Perham Memorial Home. Services were held Friday, march 14, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Perham, with Rev. Karel Pecovnik officiating and burial was in the church cemetery.
The son of Vincent and Eva (Perszyk) Lonski, he was born September 11, 1893. During World War I, he served with the U.S. Army in France. Mr. Lonski and Helen Sazama were married on October 3, 1928, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He farmed in Edna Township all of his life. His wife died in 1974. He was a member of the American Legion in Dent. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Everett (Gertrude) Ulschmid of Perham; two sons, Florian and Paul, both of Dent; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dora Belka of Antioch, California.
