ST. JOHNSVILLE (N.Y.) ENTERPRISE AND NEWS MRS. TRESSELT, FORMER RESIDENT PASSES AWAY Word has been received recently concerning the death of a former St. Johnsville resident, Mrs. Amelia Tresselt, who will be well remembered by her many friends in St. Johnsville. Mrs. Tresselt, wife of the late Albert Tressel, passed away Jan. 18 at her home, 243 N. Austin Boulevard, Chicago, Ill. She was born in New York City, April 16, 1854, one of 15 children. Mrs. Tresselt moved to St. Johnsville in 1889 and made her home here until Oct. 29, 1904, when she moved with her family to Chicago. Mrs. Tresselt was widowed at an early age, three of her youngest children were not old enough to remember their father. The deceased was an ardent church worker, attending services every Sunday. While living in St. Johnsville she was a faithful member of St. John's Reformed Church and took an active interest in all its activities. Mrs. Tresselt leaves besides a wide circle of friends to mourn her loss, sons, Albert, Adolph, Richard Gustave and Horace, and one daughter, Alma; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Young of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Interment was made at Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago, Ill.
