America “Meck” Jane Montgomery married four times, and three of her married names are displayed in order on her grave marker in Miler Cemetery near Union, Iowa: Davis Knott Wilcox. After Ray Davis died, Meck married Clare Carter, of Union, in August, 1921. They were divorced the next year. Then she married Noah Knott. Her fourth and last husband was James Wilcox. She lived in Eldora, Iowa.
