Amos Morse, son of Jonathan Morse and Mary Clark, was b. Aug. 10,1805, in Bradford, NH. He d. in Iowa in 1880. Amos m. on Dec. 8,1830, with MARY ANN CLARK. She was b. in Mass. and was still living in Sept. 1887 in her 81st year. Amos served as a Selectman in Bradford in various years from 1837-1849. All but his youngest child (Isabella) was named in the Morse Genealogy and they were all enumerated in the 1850 census in Bradford.
Children were: Perkins (1831), Susan (1833), Alvin (1835), Mary (1836), Abigail A. (1838), Amos (1840), George N. (1842), William H. (1844), Emma A. (1846), and Isabella (1850 in NH).
