Anders (Andrew) Nelson

Obituary hoppesusanadded this on 3 Nov 2009 from the 9/26/1907 Kansan newspaper: Andrew Nelson was born in Denmark, May, 1846 and died at his home in Arion townsip, Cloud Co., KS, 9/16/1907. In 1866, at the age of twenty, he came over to this country, where he has been residing for thiry-three years. He was married to Malinda Terrell shortly after he came to this county. Eight children were born to this couple. They are William, Christine, Winona, Chester, Harry, Earnest, Floyd, Herbert. Mr. Nelson was taken very dangerously ill with heart trouble and pleurisy about a week ago, and since the last attack no hope has been entertained for his recovery. The bereaved wife and children possess the heartiest sumpathies of scores of neighbors and friends in their sad bereavement.
