B.1.1. Andreas Carstens, 1620-1675, Mayor in Tønder.
Two sons (B.1.1.1. & B1.1.2.).
It is possible that there was a third son by the name of Jørgen Carstens, who from 1694 appears on St. Thomas Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands as "Bottlerer" (a subordinate position with 3 Rdlr. About the month) (1).
A son of this Jørgen Carstens was named Johan Lorentz Carstens (2) (not Castens), ennobled in 1745 by the name Carstenskiold (3) (thus spelled in the records of Sain Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands in 1747) and he is the ancestor of the living Castenskiods (4).
B.1.1. Andreas Carstens, 1620-1675, Borgmester i Tønder.
2 Børn (B.1.1.1. & B1.1.2.).
