About Anders "Max" (Persson) Eklöv
Anders was at one time in the Circus as a strong man. He traveled to America in 1911 by way of England. His destination for some reason was listed as Revelstoke BC. He may have worked on the railway. Soon Anders was on to the USA emigrating by Ferry through Seattle. In 1927 he is in Chicago applying for Naturalization. He then appears as a single boarder in the 1930 US Census living in Chicago. Strangely enough he was drafted in 1942 by the Military at 60, although it doesn't seem that he was actually inducted. 1946 he passes at 66 after an unsuccessful fight with Prostate cancer.
