1887 (21 Oct.) Andr. Lundteigen (25yrs) left Olso for New York on the ship "Angelo" (note: Permission til America til 1st april 1890). Nils Skjeldbred (24yrs) also on the same ship left for Minneapolis (Nils was a brother of Andrew's sister-in-law).
Andrew was born in Norway to "Nileatter" Lundteigen and Abel Rogstall. Came to the US in 1885, naturalized in 1893. Married Rose J. Ryan on Feb 19, 1901 in Shelby, Orleans, New York. Father of Mary J. (Whittier) and Andrew. He was a Chemical Engineer at a Cement Company.

Andrew Lundteigen, 89, retired vice president of Ash Grove Lime & Portland Cement Co., Kansas City, Mo., died Sept. 23. Mr. Lundteigen joined the firm in 1910 as managing engineer and became vice president in 1928. He was born in Darbu, Norway, and studied chemistry at the National University in Oslo.
