Andreas (Andrew) Brown, was the third son of Johan Michael "John" Brown (Braun) and Anna Juliana Karger. Andreas married Magdelena Maulfir, daughter of John Michael Maulfir and Anna Eva Schnock Maulfir, on December 19, 1775 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Magdelena was born in 1756 and she died after John H. Brown was born in 1780.
Andreas and Magdelena had two sons,
1. Michael Brown, born mid 1770'S and died after 1855 in Ohio.
2. John H. Brown born November 5, 1780 died March 17, 1851, married Mary Umberger on August 5, 1809.
They were parents of 5 children: Matilda Brown, born 4-20-1810, Anna Margaret Brown, born 9-24-1812, Joseph Brown, born, 2-27-1816, Henry Brown, born, 2-19-1818, and Elizabeth Brown, born, 6-24-1822.
Andreas next married Anna Christina Weber, daughter of Michael Weber, Sr. and Anna Barbara Meyer Weber, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They had a son, Andrew Brown, born in 1782 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Andreas next married Catherine Weber in Wytheville, Wythe County, Virginia.

In Exchange Treasury Warrant #1823 issued February 29, 1806, Andreas received a 372 acre land grant. This was in Montogomery County, Virginia later to become Wythe County, Virginia. Andrew and Catherine sold the last of their land in October 1817, then removed to Clinton County, Ohio.
He died July 7, 1830, and in his will he named each of his children and his wife Catherine.
