About Andreas Georg HEINZELMANN

GEDCOM Note

Andreas Georg HEINZELMANN was born in 1750 in Lombach, Wuerttemberg. I have been unable to locate a place on a map for this specific spelling. Dr. Karl Stumpp's listing of emigration locations in Wuerttemberg includes a "Lembach" in the County of Ludwigsburg (north of Stuttgart).

Andreas married Johanna Dorothea KLAEGER, who was born Jan. 1, 1752, in Tumlingen (County of Freudenstadt), Wuerttemberg. It may be that Andreas moved to this village when he married Johanna, if he wasn't already living there before they married. They lived in Tumlingen until at least 1787, because their fourth child, Andreas, is listed as being born there (as are the first three children--Matthaeus, Anna Maria, Christine, and Andreas).

Andreas Georg, his wife Johanna Dorothea and their family apparently emigrated from Tumlingen, Wuerttemberg to Poland, and then later to Bessarbia. However, it is possible that only son Matthaeus (possibly 1815 to Beresina, according to Stumpp) and Anna Maria (who married Johann Georg KOHLER in Poland) may have gone on from Poland to South Russia--specially Bessarabia. Andreas Georg is not accounted for in records I have seen for Bessarabia.
