Andrew Milton Beck

Andrew Milton Beck first married Susan N. Devin near Salem, Washington County, Indiana. They had children Elizabeth Anne "Betsy" Beck, Sarah Devin Beck, Susan Nowlin "Susie" Beck, Virginia "Ginny" Beck, Alexander Devin Beck, and John J. Beck. Susan N. Devin Beck died soon after the birth of her last son, and was buried on the homeplace near Mt. Tabor in Washington County, Indiana. Andrew Milton Beck was left with very young children, and he married Miss Rebecca Barker, who was 15 years younger. They took the children and migrated to Kaufman County, Texas, near Terrell, and one child was born on the trip, but did not survive. Other children were born, named Parthena, Andrew Jacob "Jake", Arilla Martha, Annice E., Rebecca E. "Becky" and Isabella Marie "Issie" Beck.
