Research Notes
-Was on the Canton census for 1917,1918, 1920 and 1921
-Was NOT on the Canton census for 1922 or 1923
-Father Andrew Blaire was a Negro from Tennessee and married a Sioux woman named Buelha.
-the 1900 census of Rosebud Reservation shows Beulah White Woman age 41 widowed as Head and mother of Rebecca b. 6/1890 and Mary b. 3/1898. Mary is shown as a step-sister to Andrew so Beulah married Andrew Blair as her 2nd marriage after 1900. White Woman died on 23 May 1922 in SD (b. 1870)
-White Woman b. 1870 was Oglala Sioux
-some census entries make Mary a step-sister. (without explanation)
-half-sister Rebecca is not seen in census reports after 1900, indicating that she may have died
