About Andrew Dishington, Min. of Rowsay

Wrong mother of the children?

He was married twice, first with Elizabeth Tulloch and second with Margaret Elphinstone. Margaret Elphinstone is stated as the mother of the children in many family trees, but I find no evidence of this anywhere. Does anyone have any info here? The only I can find is that Elizabeth Tulloch is stated as the mother in this secondary source:

Fasti ecclesiæ scoticanæ
the succession of ministers in the Church of Scotland from the reformation New ed., rev. and continued to the present time under the superintendence of a committee appointed by the General assembly ... by Hew Scott, D.D. Published 1915 by Oliver and Boyd in Edinburgh .

Andrews son Thomas was married to a Margareth Elphinstone, so there seems to have been a mix up here at one point.

From Page 165 of Kirkwall in the Orkneys by Buckham Hugh Hossack. W. Peace, 1900.

"The first of the Dishingtons in Kirkwall was John, Sheriff of Orkney and Zetland, whose house was " Gockhall," near the Shore.
'In 1595, the Sheriff's son, Andrew, was appointed master of the Grammar School. In 1599, he became minister of Stromuess; in 1601, he was translated to Rousay and Egilshay, and, about 1613, to Walls and Flotta. He left a son, John, who was served heir, 1644. *"
