Andrew was born in the New Haven Colony (his parents married after both of their first spouses died during the Atlantic crossing. He has 2 full siblings John and Esther, and 4 half siblings (Mary, Hannah, Stephen and Lydia Goodyear from his father Stephen Goodyear and his first wife Mary _____.[2] He has 7 half siblings from his mother Margaret Lewen Lamberton and her first husband George Lamberton (Elizabeth, Hannah, Hope, Deliverance, Mercy, Desire and Obedience Lamberton) [3]
