Andrew Larson

Andreas Larsen immigrated to US in 1854. He married Anne Halvorsdtr in 1860 in Illinois, he participated in the US Civil War but seems to have deserted. He and Anne had 3 children in 1860s, but by 1870, Anne and kids are in Nebraska alone. She remarries in 1872. But Andreas (Andrew here) shows up in the 1875 Norwegian census, listed as a pauper, ill, and living with his brother Salemon Larsen. The census says he left a wife in the US in 1873. He died in Haaland in 1898.

12. Lars Andersson fekk som nemnt skøyte 16/4 1810 frå faren. Etter frådelinga av bruk 21 var bruk 13 nå på 12 spann. Han gifte seg 21/4 1809 med Dorte Salmundsdtr. frå Austre Stangaland, bruk 1, huslyd 9,1. Lars døydde 19/4 1846, Dorte 17/3 1869.
