Andrew R. Miller

MOUNT HOPE -- Andy R. Miller, 78, Mount Hope, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, from natural causes.

He was born in Holmes County on Sept. 19, 1937, to the late Roy and Mattie (Troyer) Miller and married Sara Mae Miller on Nov. 4, 1965. She survives.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and had retired from the Wayne Dalton Corporation.

In addition to his wife he is survived by children Elsie Sue (Marion) Weaver of Beach City, LeRoy (Erma) Miller of Baltic, Miriam Miller of the home, Daniel Ray (Laura) Miller of Apple Creek, RoseAnna (Leroy) Mast of Mount Hope and James Miller of the home; a special granddaughter, Marilyn Kay (Steven) Stutzman of Apple Creek; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Eli (Saloma) Miller of Baltic; a sister, Katie Miller of Baltic; a brother-in-law, Aden (Susie) Hershberger of Winesburg; nephews, nieces and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dan; a sister, Anna; a brother-in-law, Joseph "Sonny;" and a sister-in-law, Anna.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. at the Leroy Mast residence, 7754 County Road 77, Mount Hope, with Bishop Daniel Shetler officiating. Burial will follow in the Yoder Cemetery, Saltcreek Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the Leroy Mast residence.
