10 August 1759: Bond of Corroboration by William Munro of Teanaird to Sir Harry Munro of Fowlis, Bt, of assignation to him by Hugh Munro of Teaninich, dated 9 Aug 1759, of several bills and debts amounting to £3,730 15s Scots due by said William Munro to said Hugh Munro, and in security thereof said William Munro binds himself to infeft said Sir Harry Munro in an annual rent of £186 10s 9d Scots furth of the town and lands of Teanaird, under reversion. Witnesses, Andrew Robertson, clerk of Dingwall, and John Ross, his servitor. Discharge of above bond appended hereto, dated 26 Sep 1759. 26 September 1759: Bond by Sir Harry Munro of Fowles, Bt, to William Munro of Teanaird and Christain Munro, his spouse, for payment to each of them during their joint lifetimes of an annuity of 12 bolls victual, which annuity to said Christain Munro is declared to be in implement to her of a bond to her by said William Munro, dated [-] 175[-], and if she survive her said husband and thereupon enter to the possession of her jointure lands of Teanaird in virtue of her marriage contract said annuity should cease, and said Sir Harry Munro binds himself to continue said William Munro in the possession of the principal house and garden of Teanaird (now the property of said Sir Harry) with three-fourths of the custom peats of Teanaird and the grazing of a milk cow, as also to pay to Donald Munro, tenant in Balnacraig of Contilich, and Mary Munro, his spouse, daughter of said William Munro, 400 merks on the death of said William Munro in satisfaction of the tocher which said William Munro was bound to pay to said Donald Munro, and also said Sir Harry Munro binds himself to pay to said William Munro £12 sterling with which to pay debts due to Mr Robert Gordon, merchant in Cromerty, and to the widow of Hector Munro, late merchant in Obsdale. 31 August 1761: Extract Registered Disposition by Alexander Munro of Kiltearn, eldest lawful son and heir of deceased Mr Hugh Munro of Kiltearn, minister at Tayne, whereby for £1,633 6s 8d he dispones to Sir Harry Munro of Fowlis, Bt, the quarter davoch lands of Drummond called Kiltearn, with the wards of Achchladdich and Balchladdich, manor-place of Kiltearn, and pertinents, as also the 5 oxgates of land of the davoch lands of Swordale called Easter and Mid Swordale, with the pendicles of Rhidorach, Knockmartine, Croftnorie, Kiaunginnoich and Drummore. 31 October 1761: Precept of Clare Constat by Sir Harry Munro of Fowlis, Bt, as superior, for infeftment of Alexander Munro of Kiltearn, as eldest lawful son and nearest and lawful heir of deceased Mr Hugh Munro of Kiltearn, minister at Tayne, in the south half of the town and lands of Kiltearn, and the easter half of the ward of Fowlis commonly called the ward of Balchladdich, as also in that portion of land called Auchucladdich, in the parish of Kiltearn, wadset by deceased Robert Munro of Fowlis, great great grandfather of said Sir Harry Munro, with consent of deceased Sir John Munro, younger of Fowlis, his son, great grandfather of said Sir Harry Munro, to deceased Hector Munro, sometime of Kiltearn, conform to contract of wadset, dated 12 Oct 1664 (GD93/233). 18 September 1762: Extract Registered Disposition by John Munro of Culcairn to Sir Harry Munro of Fowles, Bt, his cousin-german (who has paid him £3,900 sterling), of the lands of Pellock, and the lands of Lemlair, with the manor-place of Lemlair, alehouse and alehouse croft thereof, the town and lands of Cultofarquhar, the town and lands called Oldtown, the town and lands of Cruochin, Bognahaven, Easter and Wester Culbins and ward, and Fuarunbuy, half of the moss of Bogindurie, the miln of Lemlair and Clyne, and mill-lands, as well as of all the lands belonging in property to Colin Mackenzie of Mountgerald, in the parish of Kiltearn, being the lands of Meikle and Litle Clynes and pendicles thereof called Auldnalait and Leadnacairn, and other pendicles and pertinents of the same and of any other lands whatever thirled to said mill, as also of the town and lands of Arduilzie, manor-place thereof, and salmon fishings, to which lands said John Munro binds himself to make up title as nearest and lawful heir of deceased Duncan Munro of Obsdale, his uncle on the father's side, who died infeft therein.
