ANNE MCKENZIE ROBERTSON

Anne McKenzie Robertson is the daughter of Andrew Robertson, Solicitor, sometime Provost of Dingwall in Ross-shire, and his wife Anne McKenzie. She was born on 4 August 1772 at Dingwall, Ross-shire, Scotland, and died at Fasque in Kincardineshire, Scotland, on 23 September 1835. She was 63 years of age.

Marriage and Children

Anne McKenzie Robertson married John Gladstone, Merchant in Liverpool, afterwards Sir John Gladstone of Fasque, Baronet (1764-1851) Darryl Lundy's Peerage and they had six children: (1) Anne MacKenzie Gladstone (1802–1829) (2) Sir Thomas Gladstone, Baronet (1804–1889) (3) Robertson Gladstone (1805–1875) (4) John Neilson Gladstone (1807–1863) (5) William Ewart Gladstone (1809–1898) (6) Helen Jane Gladstone (1814–1880).
