Winona Republican-Herald Wednesday, December 14, 1938 Page: 3 Death of Mrs. Antonia B. Cierzan Mrs. Antonia B. Cierzan, 94, died at 7:45 a.m. at the home of Mrs E. W. Stark, 359 West Sarnia street. Death was due to the infirmities of old age. She was born February 17, 1844, in Parchonia [sic Parchowo], Poland, and came to Berlin, Canada, when 16 years old, residing there three years before coming to Winona. She was married February 19, 1862. She was a member of the Holy Rosary society of the Sacred Heart church at Pine Creek, Wis. Survivors are one son, Andrew Cirzan, Pine Creek, and four daughters, Mrs. B. W. Rogalla (Frances), Winona; Mrs John Kunkel (Bebie), Rollingstone; Mrs. Joseph Kukowski (Vina) Beach, N.D., and Mrs. Stark (Stella) with whom she had made her home the past six years. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Casimir's church, the Rev. J. E. Grabowski officiating. Preliminary services will be conducted from the home at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be held in Sacred Heart cemetery at Pine Creek.
