Andy C. Hershberger

Andy C. Hershberger, 79, of 16486 Harrison Road, Navarre, passed away early on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Walnut Hills Nursing Home following a brief battle with cancer.

He was born in Wayne County on October 11, 1942 to the late Christ and Lydiann (Yoder) Hershberger and married Esta H. Weaver on May 18, 1967. She died July 9, 2020.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He is survived by children, Reuben Hershberger of the home, Verna (Rick) Fisher of Navarre and Norman (Arlene) Hershberger of Navarre; grandchildren, Karen (Eli Miller), Aaron, David (special friend Heidi), Linda, Kristina, Aden, Laura and Milan; great grandchildren, Justin and Landon; brothers, Rudy (Lizzie) Hershberger, John Hershberger and William (Susan) Hershberger; sisters, Anna (William) Hershberger, Cevilla (Andy) Stutzman and Sarah (late Noah) Swartzentruber; a brother-in-law, Gideon (Saloma) Gingerich.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Enos, Sam Jacob and Christ; and a sister, Mattie.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 9:00 am at the David D. Miller Jr. residence, 17560 Arney Road, Navarre, with Minister Milan Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the Miller Family Cemetery, Paint Township, Wayne County. Friends may call anytime at the David D. Miller Jr. residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
