About Angus Gilchrist of Angus
4th Earl of Angus Gilchrist of Angus was present at the defeat of the Scots (and long afterwards a hostage for William I of Scotland) on 22 August 1138 at the Battle of the Standard, Northallerton, Yorkshire, England.
He died between 1207 and 1211.
