About Angus Lennox, clerk
ANGUS LENNOX clerk
is the son of Duncan, Earl of Lennox. He was present on the island of Inchmurrin in Loch Lomond on 23 September 1415 when a notarised copy of a Bond of Manrent between Arthur of Ardencaple and Duncan, Earl of Lennox, was made: "Acta fuerent hec de insula de Inchsmoryne, anno, die, mensie, indictione et pontificatu predictis; presentibus nobilibus vtis et discretis, Jacobo Senescallo, armigero, Angucio de Lewynaxe filio dicti comitis, clerico, Donaldo clerico euisdem comitis, et Gilberto de Banory, capellano, cum multis aliis testibus ad premissa vocatis et specialiter regatis" [William Fraser, The Lennox, Volume II, Muniments (Edinburgh, MDCCCLXXIV) (pp. 60-1] https://archive.org/stream/lennoxvol1memov200fras#page/60/mode/2up
