Donald Lennox of Balcarroch is noticed, in the company of his father and two of his brothers, in the witness list of a charter, dated 11 August 1423, by which Sir William Graham confirms that he has granted one quarter of the lands of Campsy, called Ballenaclerach, to John Brisbane: "Hiis testibus, nobili domino nostro et potenti, domino Duncano comite de Leuenax, Malcolmo, Thoma et Donaldo filiis suis naturalibus."
