About Ann Buss
Dorcas remains a mystery, with much conjecture and little documentation or factual research regarding her origins. It is known that she married Ensign William Buss in 1674 after the death of John Jones in 1673. It was the second marriage for both, William being a widower upon the death of his first wife, Ann/Anna Merriman or Merriam (1620 – 1674)
