Beebe {Note 18th century script "f" transcribed as modern day equivalent "s".}: ) Being in perfect Memory, & Sound understanding, but expecting the time of my departure to be at hand. Revoking al former Wils doe make this my Lst Wil & testament as followeth. ) First: I Commit my Soul to God my Creator, trusting in his mercy, through the redemption of Christ Jesus for a Joyful Resurrection, Desiring that my body may be decently interred & that my funeral Charges together with my just debts, be payd (out of the Estat that I leave) by my executrix hear after named: I apoynt my true and Loving Wife to be Sole Executrix. ) Item: I bequeath to my five Sones & three Daughters al my Estat, by an equal proportion to each of them, ( Consideration bin to be had, to what any of them have already received) except a Smal peice of Land Lying at the foot of fort hil, westward of Isack Foxes, of eastward of Samuel, & John Foxes Land; which Said peice of Land I bequeath to my daughter Mercy Tozer over & above her proportion. ) Item: I bequeath to my eldest Son Samuel Beebee So much of may farme that i now posses as to make up (with what he has already by deed of gift) one fifth part of Said farm for quantity, and I vallue it at thirty Shillings per acre. ) Item: To my second Son William Beebee I bequeath one fifth part of Said farm, that is to Say in quantity, Joyning Southward, with my Son Samuels Land; and I value it at thirty Shillings per acre. ) Item: to my third son, Nathaniel Beebee, I bequeath on fifth part of Said farme in quantity, being the lower or South end of the east plain, and I vallue it at forty Shillings per acre. ) Item: to my fourth Son Jonathan Beebe, I bequeath So much of my farm aforesaid, as to make up (with what he has already by deed of gift) one fifth part in quantity, & I vallue it at fifty Shillings per acre. ) Item: to my fifth Son Thomas Beebee I bequeath one fifth part of Said farm in quantity Lying at the uper or north en of the aforesaid east plain and I value it at three pounds per acre. He died in 1712 leaving his wife Mary a widow. His first wife was Agnes or Annis Keeney, daughter of William Keeney. Samuel was the father of nine children: Samuel, William, Nathaniel, Thomas, Jonathan, Agnes (wife of John Daniels), Ann (wife of Thomas Crocker), Susannah (wife of Aaron Fountain), and Mary (wife of Richard Tozer). Ann Beebe, daughter[1] of Samuel Beebe Sr. and Mary (Keeney) Beebe was born about 1672 in New London, CT. She married Thomas Crocker on 23 April 1700 four months after the birth of his second son Thomas Crocker Jr. and the death of his first wife Mary. Her husband Thomas Crocker died about 1754.[2] No children are recorded in the Barbour, New London Record from the marriage of Thomas and Ann.
