About Jonathan Beebe, Sr.
Bridget Brockway, 5th child of Wolston Brockway and Hannah Briggs, was b. at Lyme, Conn., on Jan. 9,1671/72. The copy in Register, Vol, 23,p. 427, has the month of July, whch is erroneous. Beman Brockway's pamphlet says she married in 1714, with Jonathan Beebe. If so she must have been his second wife. Bridget, wife of Jonathan Beebe, died in East Haddam, Conn., on Apr. 6,1756, aged eighty-six years., according to her gravestone.

Jonathan, son of Samuel Beebe, was born in New London, Connecticut, in 1647. He settled at Millington, CT near the northeast corner of Long Pond, in East Haddam, coming from New London as early as 1704. He was a man of consequence in the town. He owned land in Colchester. He died at East Haddam, October 12, 1761, aged eighty-seven.
