About Ann Kinnear
GEDCOM Note
Rev. David Kinnear, in his history of the Kinnear Family, says: "Ann,their daughter, was born in Leitrim County, Ireland; she came to Americawith her Uncle Alexander Kinnear and others in the year 1791. She wasmarried to Mr. Thomas McClella nd in Philadelphia soon afterwards. Theymoved to Centre CountyPennsylvania, USA., remained there and were wealthy. They hadlong been faithful and useful members of the Methodist Church. William,the son of William and Eleanor Kinnear, was born in Leitrim County,Ireland; his father died seven months and two weeks before he was born;he was a local preacher in the Methodist Church, and departed this life,no doubt in peace, in the year 1835."
