Ann probably was younger than Andrew, Mary, and Martha, all children of Noah Hampton; however, there may have been other children.The Hampton home was on 96 acres of Patterson Creek Manor, Lot No. 17, about five miles north of Pursley Run. Jonathan Heath, early Hampshire county sheriff and administrator of Noah Hampton's estate, occupied the other 105 acres of Lot 17. Noah's will was filed July 9, 1775.
