(So I am assuming Abba was born in Riga like his brother Shimone and immigrated to SA?)

Jacob was born in Tarkastad, SA. I would like to find birth records for both Jacob and his daughter (Blanche, b Sept 17, 1907) and son (Sidney, b Oct 20, 1908)

I do not know why Abba would have changed the spelling of Schwartz to Swartz (or the other way around).

Abba Swartz had a sister in NYC named Menucha (Swartz).

I know Jacob Swartz was in business in business in CH with Ike (Isaac) Grusin, who was ANNA'S Maternal uncle (Isaac Grusin is the brother of Sarah Grusin Schwartz).

Jacob and Anna were married (presumably in Chicago, need a record) and then moved back to South Africa, where my grandmother, Blanche Swartz and her brother Sidney Swartz were born (Tarakstad, SA) (Also need a record).

I've requested more up-to-date information from the Dena Club in Chicago. I imagine there are 5,000 members by now and many must be on Geni.
