Annie L. Cassel

Mrs Annie : Cassel, 90, a former resident of East Petersburg, died Thursday at the Lehman Nursing Home, Rheems.

She was born in Penn Twp, daughter of the late David M and Rebecca D Luphold Landis. She was the widow of the late John R Cassel.

Mrs Cassel was a member of the East Petersburg Church of the Brethren. She was a member and past president of the Society of Farm Women, a Lancaster General Hospital nurse, and former president of the East Petersburg Women's Christian Temperance Union.

She is survived by a step daughter, Fannie, wife of James Ulrich, Elizabethtown; three brothers, Walter L Landis, Manheim, Edward L Landis, Salunga, and Paul V Landis, Harrisburg; and two sisters, Mrs Ruth Hersh, Sturbridge, Mass, and Mrs Samuel Withers, Elizabethtown.
