Anna D. Miller

MILLERSBURG -- Anna D. Troyer, 82, 3928 State Route 39, Millersburg, passed away Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Walnut Hills Nursing Home.

She was born July 18, 1932, in Canton, to the late Dan D. and Dala (Troyer) Miller and married David D. Troyer on Oct. 28, 1954. He survives.

She retired from Walnut Hills Retirement Center and was a member of Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. She was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma, and loved to travel, go camping, crochet, go to her Bible Study Group and her popcorn gang … she will be missed.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are sons, Daniel "Trapper" (Naomi) Troyer of Millersburg, Wayne (Shelly) Troyer of Sugarcreek, and Richard (Maggie) Troyer of Woodburn, Ind.; grandchildren, Everett (Amy) Troyer of Sugarcreek, Lincoln Troyer of Mineral City, Thomas Troyer and Morgan Troyer, both of Millersburg, Travis (Beki) Troyer of New Philadelphia, Jillian Troyer of Sugarcreek and Charlie Troyer of Woodburn, Ind.; great-grandchildren, Conner and Madison of Woodburn, Ind.; a sister, Clara D. (Roman) Kline of Sugarcreek; and a brother, Melvin D. (Katie) Miller of Mount Eaton.

She was preceded in death by a son, LeRoy; and her parents.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, Aug. 24 at 3 p.m. at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church, with Pastor Don Hamsher officiating. Private family burial will be in the church cemetery.
