About Anna Marie Duman

SILVERTON, Ore. Anna Marie Duman, a former Cottonwood resident, died of causes related to age Jan 19, 1994 at Silverton. She was 96.

She was born Anna Marie Bogli Jan. 10, 1898, in Switzerland, and came to the United States at the age of 4.

She lived in Iowa and Colorado during her school years, and moved to Idaho shortly after marrying Vincent Duman. They lived at Cottonwood from 1918 to 1945.

Then the couple moved to Mt. Angel, Ore., where she lived until moving to Silverton in 1983. He died in 1978.

She was a member of the St. Ann's Altar Society at Mt. Angel.

Survivors include six daughters, Regina Wilbur of Salem, Ore., Agnes Terhaar of Corvallis, Ore., Frances Faulhaber of Mulino, Ore., Bettie Kuther of Ferdinand, I

daho, Catherine Brockamp of Philomath, Ore., and Patricia Seubert of Shelby, Mont.; two sons, Harold and John Duman, both of Cottonwood; 61 grandchildren; 146 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Four sons, Alfred, Dominic, Gregg and Vincent, a daughter, Mary La Chapelle, a sister, Marie Duman, and two brothers, Paul and Ernest, all died previously.

Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church at Silverton, and interment was at the Calvary Cemetery at Mt. Angel.
