Anna (___), the wife of William Frothingham was admitted to the First Church at Boston, Massachusetts in the fall of 1630, along with her husband. Her birth is estimated to be about 1608 based on her age of 67 at her death in 1675. [1]

On October 14, 1632, William and Anne were dismissed by the Boston Church to the Church at Charlestown, where they were founding members. [1] [2]

Her husband William died at Charlestown, Massachusetts on October 18, 1651. [1]

His estate inventory, was valued at L308 9s 9d and included L 142 in real estate. [1]

His widow Anne died at Charlestown on July 28, 1675. [3] Her will was dated on October 4, 1672 and in it she left bequests to: [4]

• son-in-law Joseph Kettle
• son Peter Frothingham
• son Nathaniel Frothingham
• son-in-law Thomas White, executor [4] [1]

Her estate was assessed On August 28, 1674 and valued at L217, with L190 being real estate. [4] [1]

She is buried in the Phipps Street Burying Ground, in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.[5]

6. Nathaniel, born on April 16, 1640 [6]; married Mary Hett, daughter of Thomas, at Charlestown on December 6, 1667. [1]: Nathaniel Frothingham, aged 49, died at Charlestown on December 12, 1688. [3]
7. Stephen, born on November 11, 1641 [6] [3]; no further record. [1]
8. Hannah born on January 29, 1642/3 [6]; married Joseph Kettle, son of Richard at Charlestown on July 5, 1665; died on September 15, 1693. [3]

10. Samuel, born about 1646; married Ruth George at Charlestown on December 4, 1668. [1] [3]
11. (poss.) William, based on will of William Crofts, naming several of the Frothingham children. [1]
