Birth, childhood and education
Pelatiah was born in 1637 in Dorchester, MA to John Glover Esq. (1600-1653) and his wife Anna (Unknown) Glover (abt.1606-abt.1670).[2]
Pelatiah grew up in Dorchester and attended but did not graduate from Harvard.[3]
Career as a preacher
He is said to have "studied DIvinity with Rev. Mather"[4] and became a minister. After preaching in various locations around Boston and elsewhere he was assigned to a church in Springfield, MA and moved there in 1661.[5]
During King Philip's War in 1675 his house was among 30 buildings in Springfield which were burnt by native Americans. This largely destroyed his sizeable library.[6]

Hannah died in Springfield 20 Dec 1689.[18]
