About Anna Miller

Anna Garber was born about 1762 in Pennsylvania's York County. She relocated in early 1768 to Maryland's Frederick County, and again about 1775 to Virginia's Shenandoah County, both times with her parents. She was married about 1783 in Virginia's Shenandoah County to Daniel Miller I, who was a widower of Barbara Long. They resided initially in Virginia's Shenandoah County. She bore 11 children. She and Daniel relocated sometime to Virginia's Rockingham County, initially near Green Mount, and before 1811 near Harrisonburg at the headwaters of Cooks Creek. She became a widower in 1819. She died about 1837, presumably in Virginia's Rockingham County.
