Research Notes
Anna Sackett Moore did not marry Gershom Moore in 1680. This profile originally said, “Anna first married John Gershom Moore. A marriage date of 1680 was found but that seems unlikely.[3] They had Margaret, Martha and Gershom. He was born 1685, he married Mercy Furman.”
Unlikely? 1680 was before her purported birth. It did not happen. Also, there was no person named "John Gershom Moore". There was John Moore, and there was Gershom Moore. In the 1600s, less than 0.1% of people had middle names.
