Text of obituary: "Anna Wills was born January 2, 1865 at Crawfordsville, Indiana and departed this life August 30, 1931 at the age of 66. When fifteen years of age, she moved with her parents to Graham County Kansas. Later she attended school at logan. She was married to W.S. Palmer of Logan on July 27, 1885. To this union one son was born, W.E. Palmer. She was converted and baptized in the Christian Church at North Star, later transferring her membership to Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer were early homesteaders in Beaver Township and together they endured the hardships of pioneer life. In 1915 they moved to Logan, where they have since made their home. Mrs. Palmer was of a very industrious nature; hers were always busy hands. Always interested in education of children, she taught school for a number of years and many boys and girls received their early training under her careful teaching. She leaves to mourn her husband, her son William, his wife, two grandchildren, Bryan and Mildred, two sisters, three brothers, many nephews and nieces and a host of friends. Funeral services were held from the Logan Christian Church on Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Strode of Lenora. Following which interment was made in the Logan Cemetery."
