Margaret Killian is buried at Wall cemetery, Montgomery, Virginia.

Margaret Killian was born in Ansbach, Bayern in 1726, the daughter of Andreas Killian (1702 - 1788). She was christened in Saint Gallus Church, Erzberg, Ansbach, Bayern on 29 April 1726. [1] Margaret and husband, Michael Price are both mentioned her father's will.

The Killians arrived in Philadelphia on the British ship Adventure, on 23 September 1732. [2] [3]Margaret would have been eleven years old.

Margaret married Johannes Michael Price. Proof of this marraige has yet to be found in the form of a marriage bond. However, the primary authorities on these two families have offered the following:

Christine L. Neuenschwander, Price family historian writes: Johann Michael Preisch was baptized in a Roman Catholic Church in Offenbach, Germany 9 Oct 1718 and died in Montgomery County, Virginia, United States between July and Oct 1802. His wife was named Margaretha but there is a question about her first name. For a long time it was believed that she was Margaretha Harless, sister of Philip, and is so listed by Harvey Lee Price. Mrs.Neuenschwander doubts this conclusion since she was unable to find a single vital record to support it. She did find record of a Margaretha Harless of Mulhofen (Muhlhoffen) German marrying Johannes Ruppel 19 Aug 1738 and supposes that she was Philip's sister. She thinks, on the other hand, that it is likely that Michael Preisch's wife was Margaretha Killian, born 1721 in the Rheinland Pfalz, Germany, daughter of Andreas Killian who emigrated to Philadelphia 23 Sept 1732. She bases this conclusion on the following item in Andreas Killian's will, written 22 Sept 1785, pro 1788: "I give to my son-in-law Michael Price, the husband of my daughter Margaret, on shilling sterling." [4][5]

This resulted in a joint memeorial marker for Mararet Price with the following dedication:

Because it is the belief of the Andreas Killian Descendants Historical Association that the wife of John Michael Price is the eldest daughter of Andreas Killian, the Association voted to join with the Price Society to erect a monument at the presumed burial site in the Wall Family cemetery in Price’s Fork, Virginia....[6]

Translation of Anna Margaretha's Christening Record: Monday 29 April 1726 Andreas Kilian, weaver and resident of Steinbach and his wife Margaretha born Fischer, christened a legitimate daughter with the name Anna Margaretha.
