<p class="MsoNormal">The joint will of Corneluis Hermanus Stephanus Scoombee and his wife Johanna Catharina Smith prove that Anna Francina Schoombee is a daughter and that she was in fact married to Jacobus Johannes Strauss. Both of them together with the other children and spouses signed an inheritance waiver at the death of her father in favour of her mother in 1919 to allow for the mother to inherit all assets. </p>
