Baptism on 18 Jun 1774 at All Hallows, Tottenham, Middlesex, England
Married French emigre Alexandre Mark Constant de Foville in August 1793. Pregnancy in 1794 took a toll on her health; a son was born son 24 July and died three days later; Anna's health further deteriorated and she died on 23 April 1795 at Clifton Hot Wells and was buried in the Strangers Burial Ground there.
Her obituary in the Bristol Journal (2 May 1795, p. 3): "Thursday se'ennight died at Clifton, in the 21st year of her age, the Lady of the Chevalier de Foville, second daughter of the celebrated Mrs Charlotte Smith. The anguish of her husband, her mother and her family can only be imagined by those who, having known this young and lovely woman, feel that her personal charms are the least of those perfections which make her early death the subject of such deep regret."
