AnnaDawn Goldman

AnnaDawn Hinckley Goldman, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2020.

AnnaDawn was born in Sugar City, Idaho on November 22, 1932 to Ira Thomas Hinckley and Anna Afton Dalling Hinckley. She had four younger brothers, Leroy, Blair, Gary, and Ralph. Being the oldest, most of the time you would find her keeping her younger brothers out of trouble. She remembered one time, they tipped over the outhouse with their dad in it and luckily were never caught.

She grew up in Sugar City and in Idaho Falls; where keeping the wildlife from entering into the house was one of their biggest challenges. When they moved to Idaho Falls, she lived over on Ada and quite often enjoyed watching a baseball game through the fence.

She attended Riverside School, OE Bell and Idaho Falls High School.

On March 8th, 1950, she married her life long sweetheart, Everett Louis Goldman. AnnaDawn and Everett were inseparable until he passed away in 2008. They had five children - three boys and two girls - Lynn, Marie, Lorraine, Tom, and Paul.

One of AnnaDawn's outstanding qualities, was her tenacious work ethic; from a young age, she was found on the farm picking potatoes and feeding the work men. After she was married, she watched children in her home until her own children started to attend school. At that time, she became a cook and worked at Bush Elementary School, Claire E Gale Jr. High, Tam's Frost Top and then out at the Navy Research Facility. Her children and grandchildren know her best for her Peanut Brittle and bakery items.

She loved anytime that she and Everett spent together. AnnaDawn and Everett spent a great deal of time fishing, traveling through Yellowstone, they served a full time mission in Record Preservation for the state of Alabama in Birmingham. They traveled extensively while working on genealogy and met many new friends. She was an avid scrap-booker, story-teller and doting grandmother.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many positions.

She is survived by sons, Everett Lynn Goldman (Kathleen), Thomas Louis Goldman (Alex), Paul Robert Goldman (Marla); and daughter, Anna Marie Hansen (Lynn). AnnaDawn was also the proud grandmother to eighteen grandchildren and forty-one great grandchildren and counting. She is also survived by her brothers, Gary Hinckley (Vonda), Blair Hinckley (Judy), and Ralph Hinckley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett Louis Goldman; daughter, Lorraine Goldman; and brother, Leroy Hinckley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Road) with a visitation for family and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior. Burial will be in Ucon Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
